Our story

Forni Rossi restaurant was created out of passion and love for Neapolitan pizza and dishes prepared from original, highest quality artisan Italian products. The restaurant was founded in 2014 by Ewelina and Jarek, and the name comes from the two red ovens (forni rossi in Italian) that were in the first Forni Rossi premises in Galeria Malta in Poznań. In 2015, the Forni Rossi restaurant was the first pizzeria in Poland to obtain the AVPN (Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana) certificate, number 543 in the world. The AVPN certificate confirms that the restaurant prepares authentic Neapolitan pizza, according to a traditional Neapolitan recipe.

PANDEMIC TIME in 2020 to 2021

 

The pandemic has had a very negative impact on the operations of the entire catering industry. Unfortunately, it also had a strong impact on Forni Rossi's activities.

   

When the pandemic began, the owners of Forni Rossi had two restaurants in Poznań:

- Forni Rossi with certificate 543 together with the AVPN Poland Neapolitan pizza making school operating next to the restaurant at ul. Niedziałkowskiego 28 and

- Forni Rossi with certificate 777 on ul. Naramowicka 92

 

The owners of Forni Rossi, like all restaurant owners in Poland, after the announcement of the pandemic - which meant closing the restaurant - had to make a very difficult decision - what next? Jarek and Ewelina, the owners of Forni Rossi, decided to devote all their strength and resources to saving and maintaining the AVPN Poland school and the Forni Rossi 543 restaurant in Wilda, ul. Niedziałkowskiego 28, where all the pizzaiolo-instructors and trainers from the AVPN Poland school worked. Unfortunately, the pandemic resulted in the Forni Rossi 777 restaurant on ul. Naramowicka 92 was closed. Some time after the closure of the Forni Rossi 777 restaurant at ul. Naramowicka 92, a new investor was found who took over the restaurant and, as the new owner, launched the restaurant under the current brand Forni Rossi 777.

Time after the pandemic 2022 - until today

 

Forni Rossi Restaurant 543 Wilda Centrum at ul. Niedziałkowskiego 28 and the AVPN Poland school operating next to the restaurant are developing very dynamically. For several years of the AVPN school's operation, the Vera Pizza Napoletano training, conducted by pizzaiolo from the Forni Rossi 543 restaurant, has been completed by over 100 pizzaiolo from all over Poland. After training at AVPN Poland, pizzaiolo work in the most famous pizzerias throughout Poland. Many of these pizzerias have obtained AVPN certificates, of which there are already over 20 in Poland. The AVPN Poland school and instructors - pizzaiolo, who prepare Neapolitan pizza on a daily basis at Forni Rossi 543 Wilda, have greatly contributed to the popularization and development of traditional Neapolitan pizza throughout Poland .

At the same time, pizzaiolo from Forni Rossi are constantly training, gaining new experiences with new types of pizza, e.g. sourdough pizza (Levito Madre - Li.Co.Li), gluten-free pizza, pinsa pizza, etc., which will be introduced to the restaurant on an ongoing basis Forni Rossi and other new restaurants that cooperate with the owners of the Forni Rossi 543 restaurant.
